I bought an Xbox One S over the Holiday and tried to use it last night to play a 4K Blu Ray. When I inserted the disc, I got a "play disc" notification. I clicked on that, and it had me install the Blu Ray Player app. I tried to install it, but then I got a notification that the app stopped installing. The blu-ray app is something I've often had issues with. The Xbox One used to be my primary media player simply because the PS4 was used more for games so I felt it better to spread the load between the two rather than relying primarily on one.
